Hispanic small business roundtable with business owners discussing how we can continue to support the creation and growth of Hispanic owned businesses across the state. Those in attendance represent 400 employees, in addition to their spouses and children.
We were glad to support the opening of a new Advance Community Health clinic on Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC on May 8, 2025. They offer full primary cars services for all populations with mental health, dental, OB/GYN and pharmacy services.
They do good work and provide affordable care based on a sliding fee scale connected to income. Good option for Hispanic families. This is part of our health and wellness pilar of services.
We had a public policy and politics discussion with pastors from across the state on their involvement in the creation of public policy, and involvement in local governments to effectuate change in their communities. Pastors and attendees from both sides of the political spectrum participated in a good discussion with a faith based focus.
In partnership with the Hispanic Rotary we supported their event in Burlington. Made some good connections and had discussions on future projects.
We did a small business gathering in Siler City that also included a business tour of local businesses. Great enthusiasm and positive energy during this event.
