Our director Gilbert Pagan was part of a panel discussing minority grassroots outreach programs and strategies that work. Our programs lead to engagement in the Hispanic community. We shared our statewide efforts and the services we offer.
We also heard from other grassroots leaders and organizations on how they engage with their communities. Combining strategies and tactics among likeminded groups leads to success.
Some team members participated in this legislative action day along with other grassroots organizations. We organized and met at the North Carolina legislature to stand against vaccine passports and support voter integrity. During the day we met legislators along with other groups who were out that day. We highlighted issues that are important to the Hispanic community when meeting with elected officials.
